Starting a small business is HARD

Starting a small online business is HARD! I always considered myself pretty tech-literate, but I underestimated the time involved in all the components of a business. When I got my own website I had to build it and rebuild it. I also had to create new social media accounts with the Icebox Quilts name linked to the website. And now I am trying to keep them up-to-date and active. That alone is a challenge for a gal who is kind of private and doesn't use social media much. I've been deciding on logos (see pictures below) and email and registering the business name with the state. And of course, the point of the small business, the Etsy Store! It's a lot.
But I am super excited to create new quilts knowing that they can now become part of my product line, and they will bring some color and cheer to someone else. And I am having fun learning new online platforms and becoming a better quilt photographer.
And now I'm blogging.... who knows where this will lead?
